The Soosaiya Peter educational trust under the inspiring leadership of Ln, Dr.S. Peter, the founder and chairman, has made strides over the past twelve years to promote higher education with a deep sense of social commitment. Today the trust boasts of having a cluster of institutions that offer courses in Engineering, Management, Medical, Paramedical and Education.
The Institutions namely Madha Engineering College, Madha college of nursing and Madha College of Physiotherapy have been rendering excellent service to the student community at large towards helping them achieve their dreams in their respective professional courses over the last twelve years.
In 2005 we added Madha Teacher Training institute Our Lady Matriculation School, and in 2006, Madha Arts and Science College to our group.
Madha Engineering College is the flagship of our institutions. The phenomenal growth of the trust achieved in the field of education speaks eloquently of the trusts commitment to excellence. Soosaiya peter educational trust was founded by the philanthropist and a business tycoon Dr. S. Peter on October 3, 1996 in Chennai. This is a registered Christian minority Trust.

Welcome to Session 2025-26.
For nearly a decade, Peter International School – CBSE (PIS)has provided the education of high standards at affordable cost. A learning environment that nurtures holistic education to create global learners rootedin Indian ethos is provided.
As John Spencer pointed out “Do you want students to be engaged for an hour or empowered for Lifetime”, we would like to equip the students to face real life with resilience, adaptability, and a positive mind-set. The focus is on “Ownership of learning” which means that a learner is motivated, engaged and self-directed. It means they can monitor their own progress and are able to reflect on their learning based on mastery of content.
Parents are first teachers and role models for their children. Parents can positively shape the character and skills of their child to make them responsible citizens. It is found that children with good support and encouragement during foundation years have blossomed to become responsible citizens with good culture and values.
Together we parents and teachers let’s join hands to play a vital role in the upbringing of a child.

Objectives of the Trust
Recognizing the yeoman service rendered in the educational sector, Mother Teresa Excellence award for the year 2006 was awarded to the founder and chairman Ln.Dr. S. Peter who spear heads all these institutions. The same management started Madha college of education and Madha Dental College and hospital with 150 bed facility in 2007. In 2009 we have added Madha Institute of Engineering & Technology to our group.
